to Provide Visa Point-of-Sale
Check
Service to Global Check Services
Camarillo, Calif., April 1, 2004 -
Electronic Clearing House, Inc. (Nasdaq: ECHO), a leading provider of electronic
payment and transaction processing services, announced
today that it has successfully completed a pilot with Global Check
Services to provide the Visa Point-of-Sale (POS) Check Service to Global's
growing merchant base. Global Check Services, headquartered in San Diego,
California, is a provider of check conversion, check verification, and
internet check processing services.
Global Check Services will roll out ECHO's
Visa POS Check Service to 5,000 of its merchant locations in April,
2004. Global Check Services will also sell the Visa POS Check
product to new merchants.
