The Check Virtual Terminal

With ECHO's Check Virtual Terminal, you can process electronic check payments right on the Internet.   

Think of it as a virtual terminal for checks.  Like ECHO's Credit Card Processing Virtual Terminal, our service that allows you to conduct credit card transactions with your Web browser, ECHO's Check Virtual Terminal allows you to accept and process check payments electronically. 

• ECHO's Check Virtual Terminal verifies the check through ECHO’s National Check Network^® (NCN^®) database to prevent acceptance of potentially bad checks. The database includes 15 million negative accounts (those with a history of problems) and 50 million positive account records.
• ACH debit transactions let you process a customer’s check electronically, simply by typing in the check account number, dollar amount and other information. 
• Bank routing information is validated before processing. 

Automatic re-initiation for returned NSF or UCF items (optional).  The re-initiation can be timed to paydays, maximizing collection.
