MerchantAmerica allows nonprofits to accept donations online. The nonprofit can list up to 20 funds so, as an example, a donation could be made to the General Fund and also to the Building Fund (2 of the 20 funds the church set up). While the service can be easily attached to the current website of the nonprofit (if it has one), MerchantAmerica also provides a web site to the nonprofit in its national directory and donations can be made through that site as well. MerchantAmerica creates output files that can be pulled into the accounting package of the church so this activity is tracked and recorded.
