ECHO - Test Merchant Application Form

U.S. businesses! Use this form to apply as an ECHO test merchant. If we have any questions about your application, an ECHO representative will contact you directly. Privacy Policy

Note: Your test merchant account will be mailed to you promptly via U.S. Mail. New test accounts are activated overnight. To receive your test ID over the phone, simply fill out the form and give us a call the next business day. We must receive your request before noon in order for your account to be ready the next day. If you have any questions, call us at 1-800-262-3246, extension 5.

These test accounts work just like live accounts, but none of the transactions are actually settled. Be sure to use valid data or you will get errors when we do field validations on things like card numbers, checking information, check writer ID info, etc. Please do not use a real credit card with test accounts. If you do, your card will have the funds held by the authorizations until it expires. The test card will always give a result such that address verification is a match and security code is a match regardless of the input values. Furthermore, it will authorize with no expiration date. If you need to see different address verification and security code results, you must use a live credit card. In this case, please use low dollar amounts ($1.00).
